Application Process and Forms

Process
Applicant must be accepted in a post secondary institute of choice and obtain a formal letter of acceptance. Submit a copy of acceptance letter to MHR along with a funding application. (see applications). On the application, the following must be provided;

• S.I.N
• Mailing Address
• Telephone Number
• D.O.B
• Band Number
• Post Secondary Institute
• Course Name and years of study
• Tuition costs, etc.

Approval Guidelines
Applications are approved based mainly on the following criteria:

• Date in which application is received
• Labour Market Date
• Likelihood of success
• Cost of Actual Course

Eligibility Policy
The following is a sliding scale of eligibility for individuals who have one received training support from MHR and are requesting additional financial support for more courses.
