Effective October 1, 2010 Training & Economic Development now requires Labour Market Information (LMI) to be submitted to our offce as part of the application process under the new Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS).
LMI is information which relates to the labour market such as data on employment, wages, standards and qualifications, job openings, and working conditions.
It's the market in which workers compete for jobs and employers compete for workers.
