Service Needs Determination Officer

Melissa Drake is the Service Needs Determination Officer for Miawpukek Human Resources. She is the front-line person for our Career Information Resource Centre (CIRC). Melissa is responsible for greeting all walk-in clients and determining what the purpose of their visit is and whom, if anyone, they should be directed to for further assistance. The Service Needs Determination Officer assists band members with filing Employment Insurance benefits on-line. She is responsible for answering the telephone, directing calls, taking inquiries, assisting both the MHR Co-ordinator and Office Manager with administrative duties, organizing and maintaining current information into the Resource Centre, preparing information packages on all of our programs and making sure the Case Management System is updated and input is completed on a regular basis.
