MHR Training Purchaser/Office Manager
Olivia is responsible for responding to all inquiries from clients/potential clients on a daily basis regarding post-secondary assistance and all other programs offered by Miawpukek Human Resources. These inquires can be made by telephone or in person.

Olivia provides assistance to walk-in clients with information pertaining to Employment Insurance including assisting with filing Employment Insurance Claims on-line. As well as providing Band Members with information regarding Canada Pension Plan, Social Insurance Numbers, Business Registry Information and so on.
Olivia assists Band Members with career planning and research when needed. Also Olivia provides assistance to Band Members looking for information on business start up. There is a workstation located at our resource center in which Olivia can provide assistance in utilizing this service.
The Training Purchaser/Office Manager is also responsible for all of the accounting aspects involved in running this type of program including items such as budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, daily reconciliation's, and most importantly accountability/reporting to both the Miawpukek Band Finance Department and to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. Olivia uses a software program entitled "ARMS" to track client information, which gets uploaded once a month to National Headquarters in Ottawa. |
