Pre-med Summer Institute

John Nick Jeddore, a member of the Miawpukek First Nation and a client of Training and Economic Development was one of five aboriginals who just recently completed the Pre-Med Summer Institute offered for the first time at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay from May 23-June 24 this past summer.

MOU Signing

On March 14, 2011 Training & Economic Development (TEDD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the College of the North Atlantic (CNA).
This was a huge milestone for both TEDD and CNA and will open doors to increased employment opportunities for members of the Miawpukek First Nation with emphasis on today's demand driven labour market.
