Employment Assistance Program

How the Program Works
The employment assistance Program provides students that have graduated from a one-four year college program or have a university degree with assistance in traveling to the location of work. The work that they are receiving must be related to the training that they have.

Once you fill out an application TEDD will determine if you qualify for the assistance. The probabability of you receiving this assistance also depends on your destination, and validation that you have work available at the new location (I.E. letter from the employer). The place that you are traveling to must be within reasonable boundaries.

We will pay up to $2,000 for travel expenses. If you are flying we will help with the purchase of your airline ticket: if you are driving we will help you with the purchase of fuel. TEDD's assistance will be limited to $2,000, any additional costs that maybe incurred will be the responsible of the applicant.

What is Required?
When you have decided on the area that you are traveling to you can contact TEDD to fill out an application. Once your application has been approved for financial assistance you must sign a contract. TEDD will be monitoring your employment status throughout the first six months from the start date provided on the application.

Information that must be provided on application:

  • Letter of employment from relevant employer
  • Destination you wish to travel
  • The mode of transportation you have chosen.
  • Estimated travel expenses
